Bring authentic Hawaiian tradition to your hula with this performance-level Paʻu Skirt, designed and made in Hawaii. This special edition pa'u skirt is made from 100% cotton twill giving it a soft and thicker luxury feel compared to other fabrics.  

The palaka, also known as gingham, is a throwback design to Hawaii history and culture.  While it doesn't necessarily relate to Hula, the design is a timeless one that many Hawaii people enjoy to this day.  

This pa'u skirt is designed with three adjustable elastic bands at the waist, this skirt offers a secure and comfortable fit—making it one size fits all body types. Perfect for both hālau practice and on-stage performances, it combines quality craftsmanship with everyday functionality.

We have been creating professional performance level Pa'u Skirts for years. All our Pa'u skirts are made in Hawaii and have been used in Hawaii performances worldwide.

Adjustable Elastic Bands

Truly one size fits all. We use adjustable elastic bands that stretch but can also be retied for additional space.

Our Pa'u skirts will fit anyone from an XS all the way to a 4XL.

Additional Product Features

4 Yards of Fabric

Created with 4 yards of fabric for fullness in the design. This allows for it to keep its shape when dancing.

Made from Poly-Cotton

Our Pa'u Skirts are made from a Poly-Cotton fabric blend. The fabric blend allows for rigidity in the design as well as durability in the fabric allowing for a product that will last.

Machine Washable

100% machine washable. Treat it as any other polycotton article of clothing. Make sure that the bands are secured tightly before washing.
